NEW YORK, NY - The Columbia Scholastic Press Association's 18th Annual Gold Circle Awards program, the largest awards competition for individual achievement for student writers, editors, designers and photographers, attracted 11,000 entries from colleges, universities and senior high schools throughout the United States and awarded 1,070.Īwards lists were distributed at the Association's two conventions- the 23rd Annual College Media Convention held at the New York Marriott Marquis February 15-17, 2001 in New York City and at the 77th Annual Scholastic Convention for junior and senior high schools held at Columbia University on March 14-16.
